The Ibero-American Society of Digital Graphics (SIGraDi), founded in 1997, is celebrating its 25th anniversary and committing to new challenges. SIGraDi brings together architects, urban planners, designers, artists, researchers, and educators to debate about the latest applications and possibilities of computational technologies in design. We hold an annual congress with the participation of relevant specialists and publish more than 120 peer-reviewed articles in the conference proceedings in partnership with Blucher Editorial.

SIGraDi is a non-profit organization, which partners with sister associations in Europe (eCAADe), North America (ACADIA), Asia / Oceania (CAADRIA), West Asia / North Africa (ASCAAD), and the world-wide CAADFutures Foundation. All together constitute the most extensive bibliographic index and database of publications in Computer-Aided Architectural Design, CumInCAD.

Conference Call SIGraDi 2021 main theme, Designing Possibilities, is a call about all possible futures, the creation between what the new reality has already materialized and what has not yet been defined.

Projections: What are the opportunities that emerge from the new scenario?

Definitions: What are the parameters that will help define our next reality?

Impacts: What is the role of design, architecture, and art in shaping the possible futures?

Unlike previous years that were organized by different Universities, the SIGraDI 2021 Conference is organized by the SIGraDi Executive International Committee (CEI) and the Advisory Committee (CA). The elected committee members represent a wide diversity of institutions, countries, and fields of study.
