CIDI 2025:

CIDI 2025:

This study aims to identify flows, informational elements, use of space and user behavior from wayfinding design at the children's hospital Instituto Fernandes Figueira. Patients and their parents spend a period waiting to be seen, which makes them prone to variations in their emotional state. The Wayfinding Informational Behavior (WIB) method was applied and the case study was the Instituto Fernandes Figueira/Fiocruz. It was found that space does not meet the main orientation needs and there are informational problems, but based on the evidence found, wayfinding would have an impact on the user experience.
