REAÇÕES DE REFORMA E OXIDAÇAO PARCIAL DO METANO SOBRE CATALISADORES DE NiO-PrO2-ZrO2.

Foram sintetizados catalisadores baseados em NiO/PrO2/ZrO2 (relações mássicas de PrO2/ZrO2 = 0, 1, 4, 8 e 100%; 20% de Ni em massa total). Eles foram caracterizados por DRX-In situ, XANES-In situ, XPS, RTP-H2, Adsorção-dessorção de nitrogênio (BET) e EDX. Os ensaios por DRX demonstraram a estabilização da fase tetragonal do ZrO2 em presença de PrO2 com a formação da respectiva solução sólida PrO2-ZrO2. Pelas análises de BET encontrou-se que maiores teores de PrO2 aumentaram o valor da área superficial dos catalisadores. Os ensaios de DRX-In situ, nas condições de redução, demostraram que maiores teores de PrO2 promoveram a dispersão de Ni° na superfície do catalisador. Os ensaios catalíticos de Reforma Seca do Metano, de Oxidação Parcial do Metano e de Reforma-Oxidativa do metano demonstraram que os catalisadores contendo PrO2 favorecem mais intensamente à catálise em presença do oxigênio. O catalisador mais eficiente na catálise e na remoção de coque foi aquele com 8% de PrO2.
