The topic `Digital Modern' is a metaphor for expressing the importance of thevalorization of Modernism in the current stage of capitalism and in the context ofthe 4th Industrial Revolution, marked also by the inclusion of the virtual/digital inarchitecture design, ``towards a new materiality''. Linking, past, present andfuture, this paper aims to discuss the importance of documentation of the mostemblematic modern works of Fortaleza, capital of Ceará (Brazil), using digitaltechnologies, such as the BIM platform and 3D printing, with the goal ofcontributing to the valorization of memory and conservation of this importantarchitectural heritage.
