CIDI 2025:
CIDI 2025:
Digital technology, as the design of user-system interactions, plays a fundamental role in promoting autonomy while improving the functional capabilities of individuals with visual impairments. In this context, this study aims to assess the accessibility of the website of a Federal University of Health Sciences, applying WCAG standards within a universal design framework, to identify key issues related to the perception of elements, functionality and efficiency of the interface and navigation, understanding of language and structure, and compatibility with various operating systems and technologies. The method was based on a qualitative research approach, guided by a critical perspective. The findings provide a list of practical recommendations that are generally geared towards developing a more inclusive digital environment in the educational sector.
