O objetivo deste trabalho foi identificar e analisar se conhecimentos em design estão presentes em tutoriais voltadospara o ensino de softwares gráficos. Para isso, foi desenvolvido um instrumento de análise baseado na tipologia deconhecimentos declarativo, procedimental e estratégico. O instrumento foi aplicado em uma amostra de vintetutoriais para o ensino do software InDesign. Como resultado, identificou-se que existe uma tendência para o ensinoisolado de conhecimentos em software, sem a devida contextualização com conhecimentos no campo do design.Também se identificou que exemplos de aplicação na área do design são ausentes ou de baixa qualidade; não hásugestões de exercícios para sua aplicação no campo do design; e também que os conhecimentos estratégicos no usodo software são pouco explorados.

The objective of this work was to identify and analyze if design knowledge is present in graphic software tutorials.For this, an analytical tool was developed based on the typology of declarative, procedural and strategicknowledge. The instrument was applied in a sample of twenty tutorials for teaching InDesign software. As a result, itwas identified that there is a tendency for the teaching of software into a isolated fashion, without the propercontextualization with design knowledge. It was also identified that examples of application in the design area areabsent or of poor quality; there are no suggestions of exercises for its application in the field of design; and alsothat the software strategic knowledge is little explored.
