Augmented reality by mobile devices: proposed application to explore the city through music, history and interactivity

This project aims to promote a new way for the user to relate with the city through music. In a virtual environment, using the concept of augmented reality in mobile devices, we propose to develop an application that provides the possibility to browse throughout the city of Rio de Janeiro, signalizing points of interest related to consecrated songs of the Brazilian popular culture. We conducted a usability test on a similar product and, based on the results found, we created a proposal for navigation and layout for our project.
