A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF AMMONIA AND UREA PRODUCTION AND THEIR SIMULATIONS STRATEGIES

Literature Review:

Com o objetivo de engendrar uma simulação do processo integrado Amônia - Ureia, foi realizada uma revisão da literatura sobre esses processos industriais, focando em extrair informações importantes da literatura, tais como os tipos de processos e suas descrições, propriedades termo-físico-químicas e modelos termodinâmicos e cinéticos relacionados com os processos. Além disso, foi realizada uma pesquisa acerca de modelos termodinâmicos para sistemas NH3-CO2-H2O, capazes de descrever uma planta integrada de Amônia-Ureia.

With the purpose of engendering a simulation of the integrated Ammonia - Urea process, a literature review was carried out about these industrial processes, focusing on extracting important information from the literature, such as the types of processes and their description, thermo-physical-chemical properties and thermodynamic and kinetic models related to the process. Furthermore, research was carried out on thermodynamic models for NH3-CO2-H2O systems, capable of describing an integrated Ammonia-Urea plant.
