Strategic Usability: The Usability as Competitive Strength on the Smartphones Industry

The theory states the importance of usability in business: through it, companies can develop a competitive advantage over their competitors, differentiated value to customers, increase sales and profits. However, few studies progressed over these theoretical formulations, proving empirically how this occurs. This study advance identifying an interference relationship between usability and performance on the smartphone’s market. Better usability means higher profits. Usability is strategic.
