Spillovers de conhecimento das firmas brasileiras internacionalizadas: um estudo a partir de patentes

O objetivo do presente artigo é determinar se a internacionalização tecnológica das firmas brasileiras facilitou o fluxo de conhecimento procedente do exterior via spillovers de conhecimento. Ao acessar o mercado internacional, as FMNs constituem um canal de transferência de conhecimento entre fronteiras. O trabalho contribui ao mensurar a transmissão/fluxo do conhecimento expresso nas inovações tecnológicas, a partir de metodologia de análises de citações de patentes. Os resultados evidenciam as firmas internacionalizadas tecnologicamente acessam maior fluxo de conhecimento no país hospedeiro do que o esperado pela distribuição espacial do campo tecnológico.
