Soft Skills are social, emotional and interpersonal skills, transversal to various fields of knowledge and life. In the Age of Knowledge, soft skills play an essential role in differentiating human work. Despite this, there are still few studies on teaching and learning these skills in higher education in Design. This study brings the results of a survey carried out in 26 countries on the teaching methods used by teachers to enhance 20 soft skills. This study is a mixed-methods that involved 93 higher education professors in Design. The survey was carried out through an online questionnaire. The results show that teachers know soft skills, use traditional methods (teacher-centered) and humanistic approaches (student-centered), but still do not widely use methods from the field of Design for pedagogical purposes. As a conclusion, strategies for the enhancement of soft skills in higher schools of Design are presented.
