SHANNON ENTROPY ANALYSIS FROM AROMATIC AMINO ACIDS CHROMATOGRAPHIC PULSES

Oral:

This work presents an alternative analysis to the traditional fixed bed chromatographic technique. It uses the dimensionless Kolmogorov entropy and a modified Shannon entropy of probability density functions to study the response of aromatic amino acids chromatographic pulses. In the experimental system studied, this latter parameter can be influenced by affinity between solute and adsorbent and flow rate.
