Recent Advances in 3D Printing of Polymers: A Review Study

"3D printing of polymers has evolved from prototyping to the production ofscalable and customized final products. This study reviews recent advancements,highlighting technological innovations and improvements in polymer materials appliedin 3D printing. The methodology was based on a review of recent literature (last 5years), focusing on emerging techniques and applications. The results indicate thattechnologies such as FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling), SLA (Stereolithography), andSLS (Selective Laser Sintering) are promote 3D printing in sectors such as healthcareand aerospace. It is concluded that it is necessary to overcome technical challengessuch as anisotropy of mechanical properties and to explore new opportunities toexpand the industrial applications of 3D printing."
