Peixonauta and Meu Amigãozão: a semiotic approach the Brazilian cartoon

This article aims to discuss whether the messages found in the cartoon series, aimed at children, "Meu Amigãozão" and "Peixonauta" are understood by children of the age group specified, in other words, if the cartoons series can achieve their goals communication. For this, was used the semiotic analysis method of four episodes, two from each grade, from model Lucia Santaella (2005) and the application of semi-structure interviews with children five to eight years old.
