The use of storytelling for social innovation and its relationship with service design: the integrative review of literature

Soares, Carol de Araujo ; Cipolla, Carla Martins ;

Artigo:

Storytelling is an interdisciplinary tool that can act in different contexts and contribute significantly to the innovation processes. It is an approach considered by some authors inherent to the design that seeks to create new experiences through co-creation value among the stakeholders. Storytelling as a methodology to promote transformative actions is growing in research areas such as service design (SD) and social innovation (SI). This article proposes an investigation of the use of storytelling in the SD and SI processes through an integrative literature review. The review included the following steps: select and analyze publications associating storytelling with SD and SI; evaluate the selected literature to highlight the main research areas, contexts, and methodologies.
