Literature Review:

Esse artigo discute o falso antogonismo entre desenvolvimento sustentável e o desempenho corporativo amalgamado com a busca por inovação, uso intensivo de tecnologias e conscientização global, em meio ao cenário da pandemia da Covid-19 e as transformações impostas à sociedade somado ainda com efeitos da inserção necessária de novas tecnologias como a da Inteligência Artificial. O estudo destaca a interação entre elementos de uma revolução tecnológica que impõe transformações profundas na sociedade, nas organizações e, ao mesmo tempo, uma crise sanitária e ambiental sem precedentes que colocam em risco a capacidade de resiliência humana para a construção de futuro, e as oportunidades em conciliar avanços socioeconômicos e práticas de sustentabilidade.

This article discusses the false antagonism between sustainable development and corporate performance amalgamated with the search for innovation, intensive use of technologies, and global awareness, during the COVID-19 pandemic scenario and the transformations imposed on society, together with the effects of the necessary insertion of new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence. The study highlights the interaction between elements of a technological revolution that imposes profound changes in society, organizations, and, at the same time, unprecedented health and environmental crisis that put at risk the capacity of human resilience to build the future, and opportunities to reconcile socio-economic advances and sustainability practices.
