INTEGRAÇÃO FUNCIONAL ENTRE O DESENVOLVIMENTO DE PRODUTO E A QUALIDADE – UMA REVISÃO BIBLIOGRÁFICA

O Processo de Desenvolvimento de Produtos (PDP) situa-se na interface entre a empresa e o mercado e seu desempenho requer integração entre as áreas funcionais envolvidas a fim de aumentar o a frequência de comunicação e o fluxo de informações entre elas. Cada área funcional possui tarefas e responsabilidades diferentes e complementares, que influenciam a eficiência do PDP. A integração entre Qualidade e PDP desde a fase de projeto auxilia na redução dos problemas de qualidade e alterações do produto durante as fases posteriores de desenvolvimento, garante a qualidade de conformidade do produto com os requisitos dos clientes por meio de verificação e validação de produtos e processos, diminuindo as taxas de rejeição e os atrasos em inspeção e retrabalhos, contribuindo para a competitividade. Este artigo faz uma revisão sobre integração interfuncional no processo de desenvolvimento de produto, analisa os mecanismos de integração em diferentes perspectivas e os principais estudos sobre a integração entre Qualidade e Desenvolvimento de Produto e propõe temas para futuras pesquisas.
