Conference full papers:

Imagining future(s) is a culturally relevant practice throughout all the ages and different social domains. Cultures develop their own imagine of future through several practices that unfold the present. The available design technologies have a primary role in this construction process, driving and altering the vision of what is imagined. Visionary images of the future, whether induced by drawing or other techniques, are real agents of social change. This paper provides a theoretical approach to futures oriented design practices through the analisis of the outcomes of the Imagining Future(s) workshop at Foster Foundation (Madrid) and outlines three methodology tracks detected during the exercise.
