How Colorblind users perceive the Graphic Representation on Public Transport Maps

This study aimed to investigate the perceptions of colorblind users on the graphic representations of public transport maps in Curitiba. For this, we carried out a data collection system to users (familiar and unfamiliar users) to discuss the consequences of blindness in search of information on these maps. This data collection was carried out through interviews to examine the relationships between maps and the audience. As a result, we obtained a number of suggestions for improvements to the form, taking into account that some weaknesses were identified in the graphical representation of information. The options provided for the improvement of the maps intended to cover both users. These delimitations may also be used for other maps in other systems.
