DENSE FLUID DILUTION RATE WHEN RELEASED CONSTINUOUSLY INTO AMBIENT

SANTOS, R. R. C ; VIANNA, S. S. V ; , ;

Oral:

Mixing mechanisms between fluids plays a key role in the industry. Gas dispersion is particularly important to risk analysis. The released gas – toxic or flammable – mixes with ambient fluid diluting itself. Close to the source– in the near field region – the dense fluids behaviour depends on the initial Froude Number
