"The Artificial Intelligence (AI) revolution is transforming various areas ofsociety, including the job market and engineering. This study investigates the impactsof AI on the job market, focusing on the engineering profession. It analyzes thedynamics, demands, and competencies required of engineering professionals, as wellas the present challenges and opportunities. It concludes that AI offers both benefitsand limitations, necessitating a rebalancing of labor forces and a reflection on the socialand ethical implications of this transformation. "
