The developing of instructional booklets: an strategic management action to integrate the design of the Distance Learning Center

This article discusses the development of two instructional booklets relating the internal processes of the Laboratory of Instructional Design. The goal of the project is to integrate the design of the Distance Learning Center at the Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo. Based on our comprehension of the various questions of those involved, different booklets were prepared for the different agents. The decisions on information design in graphic material offered - the standard chromatic, the infographic and the creation of characters - addressed problems inside and outside the lab. As the communication problems were resolved, the relationship with teachers strengthened and the laboratory implied the potential of design solutions that can build for distance learning. Furthermore, there was also the facilitation of the integration of new team members to the dynamics of the laboratory work.
