As TIC’s introduziram novos parâmetros de produção, uso e manutenção dos espaços das cidades, nos setores privados. Organizações públicas começaram a adotar essas medidas para uma gestão mais eficiente do ambiente urbano. A necessidade de uma formação profissional diferenciada se justifica, na busca de paradigmas da TIC aplicada à cidade. O artigo discute como disciplinas dedicadas ao planejamento físico têm apresentado uma urgência de mudanças referentes à pesquisa e ao ensino. Utilizamos os resultados de pesquisas conduzidas pelo Grupo de Pesquisa em Computação Ambiental em Arquitetura e Urbanismo da UFMG (CA_AU), nos últimos três anos, analisando os resultados na forma de estudos de casos, frente à necessidade de introdução de novos conteúdos disciplinares, parâmetros e estratégias para atingir uma visão transdisciplinar para a graduação e a pós-graduação. Busca-se caracterizar o impacto do aumento da capacidade analítica e a mudança dos modos de participação e gestão do ambiente construído. Reciprocamente, observamos repercussões através de experimentos e resultados globais obtidos numa agenda para a pesquisa e o ensino mais comprometida com a equidade e o equilíbrio social, capaz de promover soluções economicamente adequadas e orientadas para a preservação ambiental, a reciclagem e as reservas naturais.

In the last three decades, ICT´s have introduced new parameters concerning the creation, use and management of spaces, mainly by the private sectors. Public organizations gradually started to adopt it considering the need of more efficient management of urban environment. The need of a differentiate formation is demanded and justified, seeking new paradigms offered by ICT´s applied to the urban scene. This paper discusses how disciplines concerning the urban planning and design can be interpret by means of an urgent need of change in the teaching and researching processes. We have used the results of research conducted in the last three years in order to analyze and introduce a transdisciplinary point of view module for graduation and post graduation. The results characterize the growing impact of analytics skills demanded, in the professional formation, by the deployment of the ICT´s elements in urban space. Reciprocally it will be pointed out some of the repercussions for urban design and architecture. Those analyses are supposed to help finding solutions on urban design as much as it can be less expensive, adequate and oriented to the environment preservation, recycle and natural resources savings.
